Sebastián Astorga is a Venezuelan and Uruguayan photographer, DP, and visual journalist.

He has worked and contributed as a photojournalist, journalist, and videographer for El Salto (Spain), Montevideo Portal (Uruguay), and FocoUy.

He currently works as an audiovisual contributor for EFE.  

His first short documentary film, Escalando Uruguay, about the rising rock-climbing community in Uruguay, was premiered at the PetrElda festival in Spain in 2020 and won the documentary category at the 2021 Fenacies Film Festival of Montevideo.
